President & Managing Partner
Greg Pierce is the founder of SPARKS! and president of its parent company, Digiomedia, LLC. After studying communications and photography at the University of Delaware, Greg served in marketing and executive roles in the contracting, photography and music industries. In 2004, Greg founded Digiomedia and Odyssey Audio Media, composing original music and providing audio production services for TV and clients ranging from Citigroup to The National Aquarium in Baltimore. He has won multiple Telly Awards and Communicator Awards for sound, sound design and original music.
Greg was an early adopter of internet marketing and developed his first website in October of 2000. He founded SPARKS! in 2006 to fill the need for creative, professional web development that was affordable to organizations whose choices had been limited to the “neighbor’s kid” or expensive ad agencies. Over the last 10 years, SPARKS! has grown into a full-service digital marketing agency with the same approach, now serving clients around the world.
Greg is very active in Maryland business organizations and currently serves on the board of The Better Business Bureau of Greater MD and is past-president of The Business Opportunity Network. He is past-president and a founding board member of the Catholic Business Network of Baltimore, past-president of the Rotary Club of Hunt Valley and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, past-chairman of the James W. Houck Foundation, Inc., former board member of the Hunt Valley Business Forum and a current member of The Recording Academy.
He has been a featured speaker and presenter on topics including internet marketing, internet security and business networking. Outside of the office, Greg is part-owner of a few thoroughbreds and is a member of the Maryland Horse Breeders Association and the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association.
